WHO WE ARE
Raipey Academy is a charter school that offers curriculum for general and vocational education in Prince George's County Maryland for young ladies in grades K-12. We pride ourselves on raising the bar for education by encouraging young women to strive further to achieve the unthinkable! Breaking societal barriers, reshaping limiting belief systems and creating a new paradigm of success, innovation, excellence and elegance.

To empower our scholars to become life long learners who meet high academic standards and demonstrate responsible citizenship in their communities.

For all women to become leaders in their chosen career fields and their communities and create a life of wealth, excellence and purpose for themselves and their families.
THE FACTS
Traditionally, women were encouraged to be homemakers, secretaries or low earners in the workforce. Although there are currently more women in leadership than previous years, according to americanprogress.org as of 2014, women only made up 14.6% of executive officers, 8.1% of top earners, and 4.6% of Fortune 500 CEOs in the United States. These statistics are alarming. Especially when women earn almost 60 % of undergraduate degrees, 60% of all master’s degrees and they make up 59% of the college entry level workforce (americanprogress.org).

Women are still breaking free of the stereotypes that they are not smart enough to handle the tough jobs or they are only good for cooking, looking pretty and taking care of children. Raipey Academy will provide the guidance needed for our female scholars to excel beyond these stereotypes and thrive.

Raipey Inc. was created for my grandgirls Raigan and Peyton. These young ladies demonstrated a love for learning and creativity. They are independent and self starters always thinking outside the box. I wanted them to have a school they could go to that would help nurture, guide and shape them to reach their fullest potential academically, professionally and personally all at once.
I wanted them to have the best opportunity possible to succeed in life that would also prepare them for the injustice they may face one day because they are women. This inspired me to develop a holistic curriculum that produces academic excellence but also develops a heart for community, social justice and self awareness that will benefit all K-12 ladies in Prince George's County.
I have worked in academia for over 20 years, I know what it takes to bring the best out of your scholar, Raipey is dedicated to giving your scholar our best.
